Welcome to Summerhill Holiday Cottage

Summer Hill is 10mins walk to the Jurassic Coast, Country Park and to the town centre and beach. It has views across the bay and hills from the two front bedrooms.These rooms can both sleep three people and have ample drawer and wardrobe space. The bathroom has a bath with shower attachment, toilet and separate shower. The back bedroom, which has a double bed, wardrobe and drawers, looks over the garden. There is a bar-b-que, decked seating area, shrubs and a little grass.

Downstairs is a large country kitchen with range cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave etc. This is open to the lounge and dining area with T.V. & D.V.D player, games, books etc. French doors open onto the deck. There is also a downstairs toilet, washing machine and tumble dryer.

The property is detached and incorporates the owners self contained garden flat.

Booking Conditions and Information

It is advisable to telephone for confirmation of availability before sending your booking form and deposit.

Smoking: Sorry no smoking in the house.

Cancellation: In the event of cancellation, every effort will be made to re-let your week. If this is possible you rental will be refunded, less the deposit and any revenue loss. If we are unable to re-let your holiday then none of the money paid to us can be refunded. It is strongly recommended that you take out cancellation insurance.

Bookings are not transferable. The owner reserves the right to refuse bookings.

Non-availability: if for any reason beyond our control, the house if not available for the time booked (e.g. fire damage) any monies paid in advance will be repaid in full. There will be no other claim against the owner.

Hirer’s Responsibility: The Hirer is responsible for the house and is expected to take reasonable care of it. The house and its contents must be left in the condition in which the Hirer found them and therefore, clean and tidy. Please tell the owner/caretaker in the event of any breakages.

Owners Liability: The owner will not be liable to any accident, injury, loss or damage sustained by any guest, their family, visitors, vehicles or personal effects however caused.

Complaints: We should like to know of any complaints please, so please tell the owner.

Emergencies: In the event of urgent repairs being needed the hirer agrees to permit the owner or owner’s workmen to enter the accommodation to undertake/assess remedial work.

Numbers: If more people than originally booked are coming to stay, please ask the owner first.

Lost Property: We will endeavour to reunite any items found with the owners.
